My husband and 3 boys (14,11 and 6) caught so many different types of fish including a Goliath grouper, barracudas, snappers, etc. Captain Robert knew all the hot spots and we were constantly catching fish! Robert also told us about bringing our fresh fish to pinchers for them to cook for us and it was delicious! It was a great day and the boys are already talking about going back. He was incredibly knowledgeable and we caught so many different species, including a Goliath Grouper. Captain Rob took me and a friend out, hooked up on a BIG tarpon (saw it jump out of the water and everything) and 2 other tarpon bites also in a couple hours. Caught about a dozen dandy snooks up to 30 inches on the way in…and awesome bonus!! An absolutely awesome experience!! Rob is a very personable guy and knows his stuff. Captain Ken took me and two friends nearshore fishing also, caught all sorts of fish (goliath groupers, barracudas up to 50 inches, snappers, blue runners (to use for bait but fun to catch), among others. We also lost 3 humungous goliath groupers (at least 200 lbs. each). What a blast!! Ken is full of knowledge. Bottom line: These two guides know exactly where the fish are and how to catch them because they are fishing almost every day, they have fished here for their entire lives, and they love fishing. My friends and I were more than impressed, and we couldn’t have had a better time (besides not landing the big Tarpon LOL)!! Captain Ken did an outstanding job with putting us on really great fish. We booked with this outfit for a 4 day trip and really got our money’s worth of good fish and good memories. With his knowledge of species, Captain Ken was able to give us our best shot at which fish bite the best with all giving conditions. Needless to say we will be making this an annual trip! Non stop action, fish after fish. Including a beauty Nurse shark! Will definitely be coming back from Canada just to go on another charter with Ms B Haven!
